Principal – Ethel M. Burke Elementary School

Mr. Jankowski graduated from Glassboro State College where he received his Bachelor’s degree and teaching certification in both Special Education and Elementary Education. He continued his educational pursuits at Rowan University where he received his Master’s Degree in School Leadership/Administration.

Mr. Jankowski started in the field of education in 1990 as a Special Education teacher in a private school in Cherry Hill. Other teaching positions included the Winslow School District and Maple Shade High School. In 2000, Mr. Jankowski took his first position in school administration as a Vice Principal at Charles Lewis Middle School in the Gloucester Township School District. Finally, in 2003, he began in his role as Principal at Ethel Burke Elementary here in Bellmawr.

As Principal of Ethel Burke, it is Mr. Jankowski’s responsibility to oversee and evaluate all curricular programs and personnel within the school. He also has assumed the role of ELL Coordinator of the Bellmawr School District for the past 12 years.

Mr. Jankowski is dedicated to ensuring that all Ethel Burke students experience both social and academic success while in Ethel Burke School and beyond.
